I can't even tell you how amazing last week was. I am so grateful to be able to work in this industry. I work with the best people, and the people who last in film are some of the most joyful and down-to-Earth people you will ever meet.
Today is already gone, and Tuesday is on the horizon, but I am not complaining. After my Friday wrap time, it has taken three days to get to feeling like a human again. That is what it takes though.
I would never leave the entertainment industry for anything else. My first job when I left school was the military. When you join, you know you have a certain number of years before you are forced to retire. The beauty of the entertainment businesses is that if you want to, you never have to stop. That is my plan. Work until the very end.
As I was leaving set on Friday from my favourite place on Earth, the sun was setting, which was so poetic, as it spoke to my crazy week, which had ups and downs. As the sun set, and I headed home, I felt a peaceful easy feeling which brought me back down to Earth, and spoke to the very core of my soul. Film sets are where I belong.
